Sinisa Mihajlovic: Fiorentina coach
MIHAJLOVIC - CLUB MUST DECIDE MY FATE
Sinisa Mihajlovic is hopeful of keeping his job as Fiorentina coach but has conceded the decision is out of his hands.
Fiorentina lost 1-0 at Chievo on Sunday to pile further pressure on the Serb.
Reports in Italy claim La Viola are considering a coaching change with former Palermo boss Delio Rossi as the leading candidate to replace Mihajlovic.
"Whether I stay or I leave does not depend on me," Mihajlovic told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"My conscience is clear, I am calm, it will be for the club to decide."
Mihajlovic was handed the club's backing after he was booed by a section of the crowd during last weekend's 1-0 win over Genoa.
Sunday's defeat in Verona was Fiorentina's fourth in the campaign and dropped them to 13th in the standings.
However, Mihajlovic believes his team is improving.
"We just have to keep going," he said.
"From the start of the season we've been playing well, apart from the first half against Juventus and Udinese. The defeat at Chievo was undeserved."
Fiorentina host AC Milan on November 19.
