Narita named as Viz Media Euro chief
Pascale Paoli-Lebailly ©RapidTVNews | 25-11-2011Viz Media Europe has appointed Hyoe Narita, previously Executive VP at Viz Media, LLC in San Francisco, as President of Viz Media Europe (VME).
Established in 2007, VME has rolled out in Europe to offer its parent’s animation and manga properties.
Taking up the role from 1 Decemnber, Narita will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations in Europe along with Cedric Littardi, Managing Director of Kazé, and Nicolas Weber Krebs, Managing Director of Viz Media Switzerland. He succeeds John Easum who will pursue new initiatives in Tokyo.
