No channel on Starsat 550D - PLs helo

After upgrading to V3.38 on starsat 550D, I made complete scan and no channels are found on hotbird.

Is it related to the launch of Hotbird 7 which is not listed in my STB.

Any idea?

Did you do a "backup" before upgrading (System setup menu)? You should anytime before puting a new version. After thet you can use the restore function , to restore your setting and favorites.

If there are no problems with the singnal(check first) - try using "restore" function first and if this doesn`t work do a "reset factory".

I restored backup, it's working OK but is there any way to scan again from scratch?

Go to Installation menu choose the satellite, select Network in SearchMode and run the search - you will find the new channels discovered in the end of your channel list for the specific satellite

Or, you can delete the satellite(channels included) first in the "Erease SAT/TP" menu and than search that satellite again. In this case any channel related to that satellite in the favorite lists will be deleted
