    Beckham: Linked with PSG move

DAVID BECKHAM - NO PSG DEAL YET

David Beckham's management dismissed French media reports that the former England captain is in Paris to complete a move to Paris St Germain.
It was claimed by France Football that Beckham arrived in the French capital with his family on Saturday evening, landing at Le Bourget airport.
A move to wealthy PSG is a possibility for 36-year-old Beckham, who has reached the end of his contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy.
However extending his stay in Los Angeles is believed to be another consideration for the former Real Madrid and Manchester United midfielder.
Beckham is eager to continue playing at a high level, with earning a place in the Great Britain squad for next summer's London Olympics among his targets.
A spokesman for Beckham said: "No deal has been done with any football club yet and David is not in Paris."

Steve Kean: Knows results must improve

    STEVE KEAN UNDER NO ILLUSIONS

Blackburn boss Steve Kean says he is under no illusions about the safety of his job if the team's position in the Premier League does not improve.
The pressure increased on Kean once again as Rovers were beaten 2-1 by West Brom at Ewood Park thanks to Peter Odemwingie's 89th-minute strike.
It was the first home match for several months at which the Scot did not have to endure organised protests against him from Blackburn fans but they still made their unhappiness known, with chants of 'Kean Out' ringing out around the ground after Odemwingie's goal.
Rovers have won only twice in the Premier League this term and seven times in the top-flight in total since Kean was appointed manager by club owners Venky's a year ago this week.
They remain 19th in the table and the 44-year-old knows that if the team's fortunes do not change soon, his tenure might not last much longer.
Told that he had received the sympathies of Albion head coach Roy Hodgson, Kean said: "It's nice to hear support from people, but I'm not here just to get support - I need to get points.
"I'm under no illusions that my job is based on us being in a much better position than where we are now.
"But I'll make sure I prepare the team right and that we show some courage, get on the ball and get some points in the coming games."
Referring to the way Blackburn supporters had reacted to the visitors' winner, Kean said he could understand the way they felt.
He remains adamant he can turn things around for Rovers, though, and is already firmly focused on Tuesday's crunch home clash with rock-bottom Bolton.
"The crowd, like the staff and players, are disappointed," he said.
"I think we all feel the same - we want to win at home and get ourselves out of the position we are in, so I can understand why the fans are not happy - nobody is happy.
"We are disappointed today, but we look forward to playing Bolton because we feel as though we can turn it around.
"I have a good dressing room and when things are said, they (the players) take it on the chin.
"They respond, they back each other up, and we'll have to do that on Tuesday.
"We want to be getting the last-minute goal and going home with everyone happy.
"But it wasn't to be and we just have to make sure everyone is smiling on Tuesday evening."

Despair for Owen Coyle at Craven Cottage

    OWEN COYLE: I'M TO BLAME

Bolton manager Owen Coyle has taken full responsibility for his side's lowly position in the Barclays Premier League.
The Trotters lie rock-bottom of the table after a 2-0 defeat at Fulham in west London.
Clint Dempsey and Bryan Ruiz netted the all-important first-half goals that condemned Bolton to a 13th defeat in 16 league games.
Coyle apologised for his side's lacklustre performances and admitted the Trotters must start winning games soon.
"My chairman and owner understand me," Coyle said.
"They know exactly what I am doing at the football club and how we want proceed in the long term.
"But equally I accept everything I put in for the longevity and future of the club has to be backed up by results in the Barclays Premier League.
"And if we stay up, which I believe we will, Bolton Wanderers will be set the best they have been for years and going well as a business and everything else.
"But we have to accept we are in a dogfight in a dangerous area of the league and we have to address that.
"The only way of doing that is by winning games.
"As a manager, I accept total responsibility for the games. I can understand people being disappointed and frustrated because I certainly am.
"Everybody is entitled to their opinion in football. I have no problem with that unless people get personal."
Coyle is second favourite with the bookies to become the next manager to leave his post, but has not come under the same personal scrutiny as other managers.
Former Sunderland boss Steve Bruce and Blackburn's Steve Kean have been the most high-profile cases and Coyle has thanked the Bolton support for being more understanding.
"I think the fans know how passionate I am about the football club and how much I care," he said.
"I felt for our fans. We sold the allocation we had of 600 fans. They worked hard all week earning certainly far less than myself and my players.
"They paid good money to travel to London on a bitterly cold day and support their team through thick and thin.
"And that is what I have always said, that the one constant at any football club is the fans.
"What they do know, certainly the majority, is that they have somebody there that is trying to do the very best for their club.
"We have a good future but to do that in the short-term we need to be in the Barclays Premier League and so far it has not been good enough.
"There is no getting away from that."
