Matchmaking parents of Katy Perry hunting down Tebow

On the heels of the comedian's heavily publicized divorce from Katy Perry, the singer's concerned parents are zoning in on their daughter's next potential knight in shining armor: You guessed it, Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow.
What if Tebow married a celebrity?


Perry's parents, Keith and Mary Hudson, serve as evangelical ministers and are hoping to convince Tebow to visit their California church, a source told OK! magazine, via ABCNews.com.

The subtle matchmakers are of the belief that, once in house, Perry and Tebow will fall for one another hard, a topic NFL.com explored earlier this week to mildly frightening results.

Perry -- who emerged from self-exile this week with "rediscovering myself" blue hair -- has "mentioned on more than one occasion how much she likes Tim," the source told OK!, adding that Tebow's a good match for the rocker because "he’s handsome, charming, intelligent and above all, a good Christian."

If Timmy -- tucked away in Dove Valley prepping for the Patriots -- has any say in who he'll date, marry and start a family with, it's news to this crowd.

Tread carefully, Mr. Tebow.
