French technological solution provider Netgem has announced Q4 revenues for 2011, standing at €25.2 million, taking the 2011 consolidated revenues to €84.6 million.

Some 55% of revenues are now coming from the international market, which accounts for €46.2 million, up 20% over one year. This hasn’t fully saved Netgem’s global turnover, which has dropped 37% compared with 2010.
Domestic revenues have continued to decrease in the last year to reach €38.3 million, down 60% compared with 2010. Bad results in France are due to the change in the relationship with SFR, which is now focused on software and services, rather than hardware.
The company launched IPTV services for six new customers during 2011, including Poland, and expects the number of deployments to grow in 2012. Netgem, which owns 15 active customers, has presented at CES2012 its nCloud technology for connected home services. nCloud allows the distribution of multimedia content across multiple screens within the home (TV, tablets, smartphones, etc.) and the use of social networks for interacting and sharing recommendations.
Netgem’s forecasts for 2012 estimate the shortage of hard disk drives following the floods in Thailand to have similar impact on its revenue for the beginning of 2012 than it had on its 2011 revenue, with a negative impact of around €3 million.
However the company claims it continues to develop as a profitable business, consolidating its investment capacity.
