Moratti: Denies he is lining up a move for Capello

    MORATTI REJECTS CAPELLO TALK

Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti insists he is not considering Fabio Capello as a replacement for coach Claudio Ranieri.
Capello resigned as England manager on Wednesday night following the Football Association's decision to strip John Terry of the captaincy.
Inter have had four coaches since Jose Mourinho left for Real Madrid in 2010, but Moratti claims the club will keep faith with Ranieri.
In a statement on the club's official website, the president said the rumours of a possible change of coach "now or at the end of the season, are totally groundless".
He added speculation about Capello taking over is "also groundless".
Capello has previously coached AC Milan, Roma and Juventus in Serie A.

Arshavin: Linked with a return to Russia

    ARSHAVIN 'STAYING AT ARSENAL'

Andrey Arshavin's agent insists there is no offer on the table for the Arsenal midfielder.
The 30-year-old Russia international has been linked with a return home, with Anzhi Makhachkala and former club Zenit St Petersburg both linked.
Arshavin has found himself on the Gunners' bench of late with Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain the current first choice wingers for Arsene Wenger.
However, despite the Russian transfer window still being open, agent Phil Smith fully expects his client to see out the remainder of the campaign at Emirates Stadium.
"Officially there wasn't an approach and Arshavin doesn't have an offer either," Smith told Sovetsky Sport.
"The club have said they want to keep Arshavin and the player has said he wanted to stay.
"So I think it's not a topic. It's true the Russian transfer window is still open, but it's closed in Europe. It's not usual for club to sell their players at this time."
