dynamic dns updater

is there any plugin that i can put in my dreambox 800 so that the dyn dns can be updated automatically? instead of updating it from the pc?

Hi,

Have a look to your router's configuration... Usually you can update your dyndns easiest/fastest than a PC/dreambox add on.

Clic on blue panel/addons to choose the dyndns client (if router won't do it)

agree... setting in the router would be my best bet as well.... also there is dyndns plugin for many enigma images on DM

thanks for the answers. unfortunately my internet service provider sends dynamic ip and to make it static i will have to pay an additional cost. so i will go for the second opinion.
But is there any plugin for the BH dreamelite image please?

u use dyndns service or similar...... u need it regardless if u want o use in dreambox or modem.... you still need it.... just using plugin will not help

yes i use dyn updater. so will i still be needing it to update from pc?
