Hello friend.

I have just bought a HD 8200 series. Could you explain me what is the diference between "emu" firmware and "mcas" firmware. Which should I install?? Could I install both?? I have my legal al-jazeera card runing in this deco. Can I damage anything to view al-jazeera if I install any of these firmwares???

UPGRADE PROCESS:

 - Extract and copy the .ABS file to the root (/) directory of your USB stick
 - Go to System > Upgrade by USB
 - Select the desired software
 - Select "All SW + bootloader" as upgrade mode
 - Press "Start" to start the upgrade process
 - Do NOT power off the receiver during the upgrade process

I want to buy a DVB-C receiver, Amiko CHD-8240 CI CXE PVR, and please tell me if the firmware "AMIKO_HD8200_Series_1.4.88_emu" may I see encrypted channels (Nagra 2) without having a card.
