hi to everyone.
i just bought a sat receiver (humax hdci 2000)
i want to open locked channels.
i head t*rex is one of the best mod*les.
what else do i need with t*rex?
i read about cas3, smar*cards and other stuff.
what are all these? what do i really need ?
please explain as much as possible because i m very new at this stuff.

Hello friend,
very good choice for your receiver (clone of Humax pr-hd1000 without the card reader for premiere cards).
If you buy a dragon/t-rex cam i suggest to by a cas interface 3 for programing your cam easily!
With lastest predator 343 files for the dragon/t-rex, you can open almost all channels that are hacked !
If you can get the astra1 sat. you will be able to get the 3 HD channels from premiere plus all others channels from the package with your hd-ci2000.
Once you get all the stuff i will give you a tip to get rid of the message "please insert your card ..." when using premiere channels.

hi m8,
this is how you programme a dragon cam with a cas 3 programmer.

how to programme the dragon cam with a
CAS 3 and the dummy card
connect one end of 20pin ribbon cable to cas3
and the other end to dummy card.
insert Dragoncam into pcmcia slot of cas3
and insert dummy card into dragoncam slot (contacts facing up)
insert usb cable, and start cis software.
click cam module, then other cams, then Dragoncam.
select cam version, either ( 2.x ) or ( 3.x - 4.x )
click file name [...] and navigate to required *.dra firmware.
a new window opens...(common interface host)
select Dragonload. then click the Enter Selected button
select "Yes, Load Module", then Enter Selected button.
dragon cam will now be loaded with selected file.
a progress monitor will be shown in dragoncam loader window.
wait for loader successful, then remove cam.
congatulations you have programmed your cam.
