Celtics' Allen out with sore left ankle vs. Sixers

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Boston guard Ray Allen will miss the Celtics' game against Philadelphia on Friday with a sore left ankle.

Allen first hurt the ankle last week against the Clippers. He averages 14.6 points and is third on the team in scoring.
Mickael Pietrus will start for Allen.
