need help with trex

Yesterday i bought an trex cam
and i need help how to program it
before this cam i had an matric revolution and that was easy to update

and the program cis7.4

Did you get a Dragon\T-Rex Loader Card at the same time as your T-Rex CAM? If not you'll do well to get One!
Whatever you options some you ~will~ need some kind of 'Loadercard' even if it's just a Dummycard w/a CAS3 Interface.
So you can update your CAM either with a Dummycard w/CAS Interface 3, or you could Program a 'Loadercard' (e.g. Fun7 ~2Mb~), in the case of a 2Mb Fun7 Card you will have to run the Dragon Restore Program on the Card first to, convert it into a 'Loadercard', but that should do nicely.
AFAIK: It must be a Fun7 ~2Mb~ Card Fun6 ~1Mb~ and smaller will not work!

i have 1 fun7

but i cant click on that icon by the program cis7.4
i go to repair > there i see > Dragon > but cant click on it

Did you try re-formating (that ie eraseing), the Card first??

Procedure for 2 external eeprom (BIN or HEX Format):
1-Load Software programmer
2-Select Fun7 or Prussiancard5
3-Load Fun7FlashLoader.hex in flash
4-Nothing in internal eeprom
5-Load PredatorXXX_FUN7_EEPROM1 in EEprom Ext.1
6-Load PredatorXXX_FUN7_EEPROM2 in EEprom Ext.2
7-Burn card
(XXX=predator version, ex 3.04)

Procedure for 1 external eeprom:

If you only have a CAS2 interface you cannot do anything, you will need the add-on that will allow you to program the loadercard for the dragon or turn a Funcard 7 into a DragonLoader card.

Otherwhise you need a CAS3 interface with the dummy card to program directly the Dragon/T-Rex CAM.

a friend of me has cas3 i can borrow it from him
but i dont know witch updates i need to install

if i do the trex cam in the receiver i see firecrypt 1.3

Do you have a Programer for Funcard / Cerebro / K3 etc...??
CAS2 should be enough.
Heck I have a Dynom!te Plus which is about the same thing as a CAS2 w/o the update abblilty to CAS3, and I hav had no problems yet.

Yes with the CAS3 Interface and it's Dummycard you will be able to update the CAM!
But, the rub is the CAS3 Interface is about the most expensive Programer you can buy!
Using this just to program a Funcard now and again would be a waste!
Ok I got that outa the way.

You have to open some Program up that will work with your Programer Device.
Beit a USB - Dynom!te Plus, Infinity or an older COM Port only Programer MasterCRD1 for ex.
In the case if the Fun7 you should have Four Block to fill-in (normal Fun 2-6 only have 3 Blocks!).

The Blocks on a fun 7 are:

Flash: You should place the Fun7FlashLoader.hex -- here
Int-EEPROM: Nothing goes in here!!
Ext-EEPROM1: PredatorXXX_FUN7_EEP ROM1 in EEprom Ext.1
Ext-EEPROM2: PredatorXXX_FUN7_EEP ROM1 in EEprom Ext.2

XXX = Predator version (i.e. v3.46 w/working TPS)

Now you can write to the Card, when it's done you'll have a working Loader Card. to Program your CI-Modual.

BTW: Firecrypt 1.3 should be standard on every Dragon \ T-Rex sold.
Given that the only Two Channels in Fire\Dreamcrypt are X-Plus and InXtc...
