Canalsat - Card sharing help

Hi,

10 years ago, I was using "fun cards" to get satellite channels, updating the car monthly.
Does this technic still works ?

I know nothing about card sharing. If I understand well, we link a dreambox to a PC to get codes from a server; but does the PC have to be always connected to the dreambox ? The PC has to run all the time ?

I'll soon move to New Caledonia, do you know some servers to receive this provider called "Canalsat Caledonie" ?
