Fashion TV to launch Spanish version

Spain’s fashion victims will soon have a new TV platform on which to follow the latest trends, as European fashion channel Fashion TV is to launch a Spanish version.
As well as offering Fashion TV in Spanish, the channel, which will transmit in the clear through the SES Astra satellite system, will also offer other fashion-dedicated programming 24-hours-a-day.
The broadcaster’s owners have signed a contract with the producer Spainmedia TV, which will cover specific programmes tailored to the Spanish market. The channel, created in France, is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year.
