Spain’s international channel TVE International has returned to the orbital position of 30° West of Hispasat to broadcast in-the-clear 24 hours a day.
Canal 24 Horas also transmits in-the-clear on Hispasat 1E (30º West) in a transponder operated by Telefónica.
Both channels have started broadcasting in-the-clear on the same frequency along with BBC Arabic channel, Telesur and VOA Persian.
TVE Internacional did previously broadcast in-the-clear on Hispasat for a while, but could only get a signal on the European version via Eutelsat Hot Bird 13B (13° East).
