Al Jazeera Children’s Channel acquires Slash://

The Italian-produced kids TV show Slash:// is being taken to Arab speaking audiences throughout the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) by Al Jazeera Children's Channel (JCC).

Gruppo Alcuni's series, aimed at seven to 12 year olds, charts the adventures of a five youngsters from around the world who, with the magic power of a green stone, are able to physically travel through the internet.

Broadcasters including RTP, Canal Panda, Klub 100 and NOGA have already acquired the show, which the Treviso-based producer says explores 'themes such as art, music, technology and nature, using laughter, suspense intrigue and adventure'.
