KAON firm missmatch

Hi,

I have a KAON KSC570 (HW12.C1.A5 - SW02.00.00 -Loader V6.1.9)

I try to download new firm with KUP300, but this don't work : the receiver is recognized as a KSC-511Z ! ( see target field in message below)

Is there a way to modify the target name in the firm ?

reflashez le avec le loader team (619v4)
et apres flasher votre firme

Hello,

What is important is the Hardware version 12.C1.A5 for exemple, not the name. There is a lot of OEM around the Kaon product so it depends on which "base" firmware the decoding emulator has been added. don't bother with the name just be carefull with the hardware version.

ok sorry :) my distributor told me I have to use jtag for updating the bootloader but I will try it now with antonios way thx

Yeah, I had the same message. Als I epdated my Boot, I was able to update my firmware. The positive effect was, that it now shows a lot better screen (no distortions).
