Does anybody know what type of encryption is used for these channels (12281v 27500sr) on PAS 2 and whether keys are available?

I believe this encryption is Irdeto, which you problay need a card for as the keys keep rolling here in Aust.
No mate powervu.
does anyone know of where i could get a card for the PAS2 channels?
Is this also via aurora so if i got an aurora card - it would decrypt the C1/B3/PAS2 channels?
Hi, It's not Aurora. Powervu encrypted. Any other help would be appreciated![]()
I posted in reply to this in the other thread, but i have thought about it a little more. Essentially, PAS 2 is a legacy of a remote broadcasting service for WA that predated the aurora platform and used PowerVU. Because there are still some remote farmers in WA with dishes pointed at PAS2 they remain in use but all new installation used irdeto/c1/aurora.
I did have a think about how you could get these and the only way to do it would be to buy a second hand (already authorised) PowerVU reciever from a farmer in Western Australia. They do actually come up for sale from time so it might be worth keeping an eye out for.
The only services that i am aware of that have been successfully unlocked with keys are the irdeo 1 aurora services on c1/b3 and the BISS encypted french channels on i701. Nothing else can be unlocked with keys in our part of the world.
