    Vladimir Petkovic: Wednesday unveiling

    PETKOVIC PRESENTATION ON WEDNESDAY

Lazio will unveil new coach Vladimir Petkovic on Wednesday afternoon, the Serie A club have confirmed.
The Bosnian signed a two-year deal with the Biancoceleste outfit at the weekend after terminating his contract with Swiss side FC Sion.
A statement from Lazio read: "On June 6, at 1500 local time, the new Lazio coach Vladimir Petkovic will hold his first press conference in Lazio's training ground in Formello."
Petkovic, 48, replaces Edy Reja, who left Lazio last month shortly after guiding the team to a fourth-placed finish in Serie A.
Lazio will compete in the Europa League next season.

    Sebastian Boenisch: On Stuttgart's radar

    STUTTGART EYE BOENISCH

Stuttgart look to be closing in on the signing of full-back Sebastian Boenisch from Bundesliga rivals Werder Bremen.
Stuttgart director of sport Fredi Bobic claims the Poland international, who is preparing for Euro 2012, is "one of the candidates that we are taking a close look at".
However, Boenisch, who made only four Bundesliga appearances last season, insists he has not yet held talks with Stuttgart.
"Nothing has been agreed yet," the 25-year-old said in the Stuttgarter Nachrichten newspaper.

"There have not yet been any actual talks held between myself and Stuttgart.
"But Stuttgart are a great club and are playing in Europe (next season)."
Stuttgart will be hoping to wrap up a deal before the start of Euro 2012 on Friday.

Robin van Persie: Concentrating on Holland

VAN PERSIE PUTS OFF FUTURE TALK

Arsenal captain Robin van Persie insists he will not let talk of his future distract him from Euro 2012, although he has described one of his suitors, Juventus, as a "great team".
Van Persie enjoyed a stellar year at Arsenal, scoring 37 goals to help the Londoners turn around their season and qualify for the Champions League.
Recent talks over an extension to his current contract, which expires next summer, failed and he has been coveted by Europe's top teams, including Juve, Barcelona, and Barclays Premier League champions Manchester City.

Van Persie has agreed to not speak about his plans for next season until after the European Championship finals, but the Holland hitman praised Italian champions Juventus today, telling Italian website Tuttosport: "Juve? They are a great team, of course.
"I agreed not to discuss my future with Arsenal. I can only say that my intention is to play in the European Championship. And then go on to win the Champions League."

    Eden Hazard: Moving to Chelsea

    CHELSEA COMPLETE EDEN HAZARD DEAL

Eden Hazard has finally completed his move to Chelsea from Lille after passing a medical with the European champions.
Almost a week after announcing he had decided to move to Stamford Bridge, the 21-year-old Belgium international was officially confirmed as a Blues player.
Hazard cost a reported £32million from Lille, which would make him the second most expensive player in Chelsea's history behind Fernando Torres.
The club said in a statement on their official website, www.chelseafc.com: "Chelsea Football Club is delighted to announce we have agreed terms with Lille for the transfer of Eden Hazard.

"The 21-year-old Belgian international has agreed personal terms with the club and today passed a medical examination.
"He will join the club in July when the players return for pre-season training."
Hazard added: "I'm delighted to finally arrive here - it's a wonderful club and I can't wait to get started."
As Chelsea were preparing to announce Hazard's signing, the player himself was giving an interview to French radio station RMC, where he revealed his reasons for choosing to join them.
The Blues reportedly won a bidding war for his services and are said to be paying him around £170,000 a week over a five-year contract.
Manchester United and Manchester City had been favourites to land the Ligue 1 player of the year, but Chelsea's surprise Champions League triumph turned his head.

"When they won the Champions League I told myself, 'Why not Chelsea?' Hazard said, revealing he also felt he would get more game time at Stamford Bridge.
"There was a struggle between Chelsea and United but, for me, Chelsea has the best project.
"The team is young and I have a better chance to play there."
Hazard, who openly flirted with several of Europe's top clubs - including Real Madrid and Barcelona - added: "At 21, Real or Barca would have been more difficult for me.
"If I play well enough at Chelsea, I could win my place in the starting team."

    Zdenek Zeman: New Roma coach

    ROMA NAME ZEMAN AS COACH

Roma have confirmed the appointment of Zdenek Zeman as their new coach.
The 65-year-old Czech, who led Roma from 1997 until 1999, has signed a one-year contract with an option to extend it for a further season.
Zeman recently led Pescara to promotion to Italy's top flight in his first season at the club.
The veteran tactician has replaced Luis Enrique, who stepped down last month after just one year in charge.
Roma endured a disappointing campaign under the Spanish coach, finishing seventh - outside the European places.
