Tiote: Enjoying living in Newcastle
CHEICK TIOTE HAPPY AT NEWCASTLE
Newcastle midfielder Cheick Tiote has dismissed speculation he will make a big-money move away from the Sports Direct Arena this summer.
The 25-year-old Ivory Coast star has attracted interest from major clubs with his industrious performances last season, but insists he is content on Tyneside.
"I like living in Newcastle, very much," Tiote told the Gazette. "It is a very simple life for me.
"I am at home with my family and I can just chill some days for the whole day. But when I want to go out and do some stuff, I can do that as well.
"People here are more friendly than aggressive, so life is all right for me here."
Of more concern for United boss Alan Pardew is the future of striker Demba Ba, who has a £7m release clause in his contract and is thought to be on the summer wish list of several clubs.
