As predicted there is some serious pitch fork action taking place on the pitch. One fella is using a pitch fork in each hand and stabbing away like Hannibal Lector. Why? Because one pitch fork is for losers.

Time running out for Ukraine. They are seeing some of the ball but their belief has gone. The first signs of descent start from the crowd, who boo as the home side gift possession back to France.
Yevhen Konoplyanka tries to give his side a late lifeline but his shot from a good position on the left side of the box is sliced across goal and out for a throw to France. Even the most loyal of Ukraine fan must accept that this game is gone now. We're into the last minute.
Another Ukraine free-kick, this time from deeper on the right. However, the delivery is too close to Hugo Lloris who comes out to punch clear.
Ukraine have been poor in this game. We've seen nothing for England to fear in their final group game. Saying that, will they be as bad as this again. Another potential plus for England is that Andriy Shevchenko has played two whole games now in four days. Is his aging body going to able to recover properly for a third so soon after this?
