Emile Heskey: Linked with move to Hull

    HESKEY: NO HULL TALKS YET

Veteran striker Emile Heskey is prepared to drop down to the Championship, but says he has yet to hold talks with new Hull City manager Steve Bruce.
Heskey is available on a free transfer after being released by Aston Villa and he has been tipped to become Bruce's first signing at the KC Stadium.
The former England international played under Bruce at Birmingham City and Wigan Athletic, but has yet to make a decision regarding his future.
"Steve Bruce is a very good manager and we have worked together in the past. We get on very well," Heskey told the Hull Daily Mail.
"He was the manager who took me to Birmingham and then I was at Wigan when he arrived there.

"The last time we spoke was at a football dinner, but obviously that was at a time when Steve was not managing a club, and I have not spoken to him since.
"At present, I have not had any contact with any clubs about next season as of yet, and I have not even thought about making any decisions, as I am just enjoying a break and a holiday first.
"However, I will not be hanging up my boots and I will look to get things sorted out after I have had a holiday.
"At present, I am not ruling anything out though, and I certainly would not rule out playing in the Championship, as it is a very good division."

Robert Koren: Reportedly attracting Reading interest

    KOREN 'WOULD CONSIDER READING'

The agent of Hull City's Robert Koren says the midfielder would seriously consider a move to Premier League new-boys Reading should they make an approach, claiming Brian McDermott is a long-time admirer of the player.
The 31-year-old, who netted 10 goals for the Tigers last season and was named the fans' player of the year, has already attracted interest from Leicester this summer, with Hull's owners thought to have rejected an offer.
Koren's agent, Zoran Krneta, claims Reading boss McDermott is also chasing the Slovenian as he looks to strengthen his squad following their promotion to the top flight, having unsuccessfully tried to sign him six years ago when he joined West Brom from Norwegian club Lillestrom.
But Krneta says the midfielder will return to pre-season with Hull and meet new manager Steve Bruce before making a decision on his future.

"I cannot tell you anything right now as it is early days, but there has been a long-term admiration by Brian McDermott for Robert," the agent told the Hull Daily Mail.
"He tried six years ago to buy Robert, but he joined West Brom.
"Robert is a player Brian knows very well, but the circumstances were different back then.
"I believe there is no player in the Championship who would not be attracted to the Premier League.
"Obviously, if there was an offer from Reading then that would be something Robert would think over seriously.
"But Hull have just appointed a new manager and I am sure Robert will want to come back from his holiday and see what happens."

    Moritz Stoppelkamp: Left Hannover

    STOPPELKAMP LEAVES HANNOVER
Hannover have sold forward Moritz Stoppelkamp to ambitious second division side 1860 Munich for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old requested a transfer after the Lions made their approach and the Bundesliga club accepted the offer for the former Rot Weiss Oberhausen forward, who moved to Lower Saxony in 2010.

"We accepted the player's wishes by releasing him early," said Hannover's director of sport Jorg Schmadtke.
"We thank Moritz Stoppelkamp for his performances for Hannover and wish him all the best at his new club."
Stoppelkamp made 44 Bundesliga appearances for the Reds, playing an additional five games in the Europa League last season.
