Mudingayi: Milan clubs after me

Bologna defensive midfielder Gaby Mudingayi claims he is a summer target for both AC Milan and Inter Milan.

The 30-year-old, who was strongly linked with a move to Napoli last month, has one year left on his contract with the Rossoblu outfit.
"I can confirm that the two Milan clubs are interested in me," Mudingayi said to Sport Italia.
"They are the strongest clubs in the world. But it all depends on what Bologna decide.


"I would be happy to move to Milan but I'm also happy at Bologna."
Mudingayi, who joined Bologna in 2008 from Lazio, made 34 league appearances in the 2011/12 season.

Vertonghen resigned to Ajax stay

Tottenham's hopes of signing Belgium defender Jan Vertonghen are fading due to a clause in his Ajax contract.


Jan Vertonghen: Unlikely to make move to White Hart Lane


Vertonghen is entitled to 15% of the agreed £9.5million transfer deal under the terms of his deal with the Dutch champions.
Ajax have indicated their reluctance to honour the clause and, while the 25-year-old still seeks a move to White Hart Lane, he is resigned to staying in Amsterdam.
"This is a shame. I thought that it would be sorted out much sooner," he told Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad.
"As it looks now, I'll be at Ajax on July 2. I'm hoping for a solution, but I'm not expecting a solution.
"I have one advantage: Ajax have got a good coach who knows me.


"I play in a good, stable squad. Let's become champions with Ajax for the third time in a row."
Vertonghen is astonished that specific details of his contract have been released.
"I'm shocked. The percentage is correct - it's unbelievable. I know that at Ajax a lot of things are leaking," he said.
"When you hear it about other football players, you don't feel it. It's different when it's about yourself."

Joan Angel Roman: Has sealed move to Barcelona from Manchester City




Barcelona have confirmed the signing of Joan Angel Roman from Manchester City.
The 19-year-old midfielder joined City three years ago when they paid Espanyol £1million for his services.
However, Roman has failed to break into the first team and he has now opted for a switch back to his native Catalunya.
Sky Sports revealed earlier this week that talks were at an advanced stage and now Barcelona have confirmed the deal.
Stronger

The teenager has signed a three-year deal at Camp Nou and will start the season with Barca's B side.

"Being in England for three years has helped me to mature a lot and to become physically stronger," said Roman.
"I'm raring to start and start learning. When I heard Barca were interested in me, that was my priority.
"I can assure you that I'll work hard and give everything I can out on the pitch."

Porto forward Hulk has defended the constant speculation about his future by claiming he is not 'obsessed' with leaving the club.
The Brazil international has been linked with big-spending sides such as Chelsea and Paris St Germain for much of the year but no deal has yet been done.
And the 25-year-old has moved to clarify the situation by saying he is not desperate to leave the Portuguese side.
"I'm not obsessed to leave Porto," he told Brazilian daily Globo Esporte. "I like the Portuguese fans a lot and I have always done the right thing regarding that club.


"Now if the negotiations advance and some European club reach an agreement with Porto, I'll leave.
"But we still have time to discuss this. The transfer window only closes in August."
Asked what club he will be at by the end of August, Hulk added: "I honestly don't know about my future. I only know that other clubs besides those two (Chelsea and PSG) are interested in signing me."
