PSG set for Ibra talks

Negotiation is underway, says PSG sporting director Leonardo

Milan pair of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva could soon be joining PSG


Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has confirmed talks are ongoing with Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent about a switch from Milan.
Earlier reports had already revealed that the 30-year-old's agent Mino Raiola had been given permission to negotiate with PSG following a meeting with his client in Sweden.


The deal is believed to be a double swoop from the big-spending French club as they hope to secure the signatures of Ibrahimovic and Brazilian defender Thiago Silva from the Rossoneri.
And Leonardo has confirmed that a meeting will be held with Raiola on Thursday with a view to a 65 million euro (£51million) transfer for the pair.


"Negotiation is underway and we have spoken with AC Milan in Sweden," the former Milan coach told gazzetta.it.
"At the moment everything is possible because this is the market and it is always open.
"We will soon meet with Raiola and then we will see what can happen. The deals can only be considered done, when they are in fact done."
If the talks go smoothly a deal could be concluded by Friday.

Thomas Muller: Midfielder expecting to start season with Bayern


Thomas Muller has stated his desire to stay at Bayern Munich, but says he may have to leave to get regular first team football.
The 22-year-old has been linked with several European giants, with both Inter and AC Milan reportedly interested in securing his signature.
The midfielder is under contract until 2015, having come through the ranks at the Allianz Arena.
And he admits leaving the club would be a wrench.
Through and Through

He said: "Everyone who knows me knows that FC Bayern is my club. I am a Bayern player through and through and that should not really change."
But the Germany international played more of a bit-part role towards the end of last season, and he knows he might have to make a move for the benefit of his career.
He continued: "I would not be the kind of person to just sit out my contract if I was not satisfied with my situation in my club.
"But I don't feel any transfer intentions at the moment."

Silvio Berlusconi: Selling Milan stars Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva to PSG


AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has claimed he has sold Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva to Paris St Germain.
The Milan stars would move to the big-spending French club in a €62million deal (£49m).
PSG sporting director Leonardo had earlier confirmed that talks were set to take place with Ibrahimovic's agent Mino Raiola on Thursday.


And Berlusconi has told the Italian media that both the Swedish striker and Brazilian defender will be leaving the club as part of cost-cutting measures at the San Siro.
"Yes, I have sold Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva to PSG," Berlusconi is quoted as saying in Gazzetta dello Sport.
"We save €150m over two years."
