    Barton to train with Fleetwood

League Two club thought to be lining up loan move
    Last Updated: July 23, 2012 8:49pm

Joey Barton: Will train with League Two Fleetwood Town this week

Sky Sports understands Fleetwood Town are lining up a shock loan move for Joey Barton until January, with the controversial QPR midfielder to train with them this week.
The 29-year-old has been linked with a move away from Loftus Road ahead of the new season after incidents on the final day of last term resulted in him being banned for 12 matches for two counts of violent conduct.
Barton was handed a red card in QPR's defeat at Manchester City and accepted a charge over his clash with Sergio Aguero in the wake of his dismissal.

The midfielder was also found guilty over a separate incident with City captain Vincent Kompany.
He was left out of Mark Hughes' 26-man squad that travelled to Asia for a pre-season tour, fuelling speculation of a summer move, with both Blackburn and Sheffield Wednesday thought to be interested.
Barton confirmed on his Twitter account on Monday evening he will train with Fleetwood Town and it is understood he could join the League Two newcomers, who won the Blue Square Premier last season, on loan.
    Training

"Looking forward to training with Fleetwood Town for the week. Will get a much needed sweat on..." said Barton.
"Still have 3 years left at QPR. Exciting times for the club, which I intended to be a part of. Need to get some fitness in the meantime..."
"Fleetwood are a young club going places. 5 promotions already in the last few years. If I help some of their young players, great.
"Training with them will certainly help me with my short term fitness and my plan on being as fit as possible during my 12 game ban..."

Oscar: Chelsea target wants to go with gold

Oscar is aiming to make his dream move to Chelsea as an Olympic champion, as reports of his switch to Stamford Bridge gather pace.
Reports coming out of Brazil over the weekend claimed the European champions and Internacional have reached an agreement over the youngster, who is currently preparing for London 2012.

And whilst the 20-year-old insists he is concentrating fully on winning a gold medal with his country, he admits to being excited by the prospect of the Premier League.
He said: "Like all the team, I am totally focused on winning the gold medal.
"They (his agent and advisers) are sorting those other things out for me, and keeping me informed. I just focus on playing here and on growing and becoming better.

"If I go to Chelsea it will be a dream come true. They are one of the greatest teams in Europe. I am confident I will have a good Olympics and, if I go to Chelsea, I will arrive feeling good."
    Confident

Oscar thinks he would be up to the task of the Premier League, adding: "I am confident in my ability.
"If I go, I will just keep on doing what I have been doing at Internacional, which is working hard to improve all the time.
"But I am not really even thinking about much, I am just focused on the Olympic Games."

It is a tournament that the Brazilians take very seriously, and Oscar will wear the famous No 10 shirt of his hero Pele.
He added: "I have always worn the No.10 shirt when I played at lower levels and, obviously, my reference point was always Pele and then Ronaldinho.
"I am proud to follow in their footsteps and hope I will be worthy of it."
