When you move from Illusion soft to KYNG soft,
you get:
1 - Simple and fast graphics
2 - A better handling of the remote control
3 - Stability
4 - Many new options:
* Fast scan including "Blind scan", multi-sat scan, multi Transponders scan...
* Fast EPG on ALL channels where it is available
* Very fast come-back from stand-by mode (~1sec)
* All possible sort option in Zap and edit mode
including: delete sat, delete TP, inverse selection...
* a very powerful and stable multicam support : now for
viaccess, seca, irdeto, conax, cryptoworks & xcrypt, and
very soon : NDS & nagra2.
* Many reset options and levels: reset channels only, reset transponders...

you loose:
1 - TDT (Will be implemented in KYNG soon)
2 - Teletext (for now only, will be implemented in KYNG very soon)
3 - Digital Audio (for now only, will be implemented in KYNG very soon)

How To move from Illusion to KYNG:

1 - Using BoxLoader upload the appropriate KYNG version for your box

eg. for M/C3-S use ILLUSION_To_IllusionKyng_Full_Update_V2. 03.zip
and for M2S use M2s-Illusion_To_M2s-Kyng_Full_Update_V2.03.zip

And using the TV set, wait until you see the menu o the screen.
From now the only pc loader that an be used is the KyngLoad_V200.exe.

* To activate the key editor go to the main menu type C A B C A B
the key editor menu can be in :
Main menu->Conditional access.

* For normally close and normally open smart card readers the switch
selector is in :
Main Menu->Conditional Access->CA Settings->smart card.

* The audio dac selection is in:
Main Menu->System Settings->Audio/Video Settings.

2 - Using KyngLoad_V200.exe you can:

* For all operations:
From KyngLoad click on 'Connect'.
Press the stand-by button on the front panel of the box and start it.
On the TV, you will see 'Clone mode', then to:

* Upload/Download Keys (.DAT) files:
From KyngLoad 'Up/Down Type' menu, select 'Data'
then click on 'Send' or 'Receive' button and choose the file
to read from or to save to, and wait until the operation finishes.

* Upload/Download Channels (.KCN) files:
From KyngLoad 'Up/Down Type' menu, select 'Channels'
then click on 'Send' or 'Receive' button and choose the file
to read from or to save to, and wait until the operation finishes.

* Upload/Download logo (.LOGO) files:
From KyngLoad 'Up/Down Type' menu, select 'Others'
then click on 'Send' or 'Receive' button and choose the file
to read from or to save to, and wait until the operation finishes.

* Update main software (.KYNG) files:
From KyngLoad 'Up/Down Type' menu, select 'Main soft'
then click on 'Send' or 'Receive' button and choose the file
to read from or to save to, and wait until the operation finishes.

* Update full application (.KFL) files:
From KyngLoad 'Up/Down Type' menu, select 'Full Flash'
then click on 'Send' or 'Receive' button and choose the file
to read from or to save to, and wait until the operation finishes.
*** this operation will erase all data : channels, logo, keys from the flash ***

3 - To go back to illusion software:

* Use KyngLoad and choose 'Full Flash' option, then send the Rollback file
this will install BootLoader for illusion software, then you have to upload
any illusion appli. you want.
