    Re: CCcam server getting NOK´s

    Hello,

Script installing ---> when you install with minimum effort you use a script made by someone with is configurations (might work straight away or not) and then you have to change to your own configs. This is the part that most of the people forget. They only want it to work, to put lines and voilá, share to the world.
In my box i installed CCcam manually (another way to know what i´m doing and how it works).
Even in my Linux install (VM test machine) i do it manually (i don´t use graphical interface), i don´t like 1click install.
This way, manual install, if something is wrong, file or permission related, i can solve it right away.

"all others are closed or redirecting to traps" ---> sometimes when testing, i change inetd configurations to suit my intentions. Some box images have them pre-installed, you only need to config it.
On a linux machine is easier to do that by installing iptables or using xinetd (not as powerful as iptables but enough to do the job).
I have some redirects pointing to a radio station - lol.

I have people searching for files on my server and this is part of what they are looking for - lol.
    Code:
    <08/16/12@12:45:00> [dest: xxx.xxx.xxx.47] Invalid resource request(/file?file=/etc/CCcam.cfg)
    <08/16/12@12:45:00> [dest: xxx.xxx.xxx.47] Invalid resource request(/file?file=/etc/CCcam.cfg)
    <08/16/12@12:45:01> [dest: xxx.xxx.xxx.47] Invalid resource request(/file?file=/etc/tuxbox/config/oscam.server)
    <08/16/12@12:45:02> [dest: xxx.xxx.xxx.47] Invalid resource request(/file?file=/etc/tuxbox/config/oscam.server)
    <08/08/12@14:37:48> [dest: xxx.xxx.xxx.181] Invalid resource request(/phpMyAdmin/scripts/setup.php)
And for the NOK´s i only can test each peer or a group when i have box for myself, (having kids at home they rule)
For me, channels open, some with freezes, all the rest clear ok without a glitch.
Meantime i have been looking for the stats, kicked 2 peers for "pumping" ECM´s and 1 for high ping.
Next will be filtering fast peers/cards that i need (now its only filtered hop1/2 + fake/old +somes caids).
    Will post results when possible.
If anyone have more ideas, feel free to post in here.

    Thanks
    Pirate-G

    Re: CCcam server getting NOK´s

    Hello again,

Followed the advice from some users and kicked a bunch of slow and dishonest peers that changed their c-line to unusable ones.
My system improved but still having a lot of NOK´s.

I think it could be some corruption on box image that may be leading to this behaviour.
Next week will put my laptop with Debian/Ubuntu server and transfer c-lines from box to it.
And if necessary reflash box and start from nothing.

    Thanks
    Pirate-G

    Re: CCcam server getting NOK´s

    Hello,

Due to professional reasons could not update earlier this thread.

After another test with my DM8000 box, CCcam 2.2.1 and network, i found out the following situation.
(i don´t know if it is normal or not, so if anyone can confirm with your own box, it would be a great help)

I logged in in my box with putty and run 2 commands:
    - top ----> provides an ongoing look at processor activity in real time
    - ps aux | grep cccam-2.2.1 ----->is used to provide information about the currently running processes and filtered to show only cccam-2.2.1 processes/pid

It has enough memory, CPU is not beeing overloaded and network traffic is very vey low.
I leave some print-screens for experts to analyse and shed some light on this.

    top:

Name:	NOK-3.jpg

Size:	111.3 KB

    ps aux:

Name:	NOK-4.jpg
Views:	32
Size:	127.8 KB
ID:	240012

Noticed several processes from cccam-2.2.1 running.
Shouldn´t it be only one process running for CCcam, instead of those 20?

    Thanks for any reply,
    Pirate-G

    ps:
1 - No time for the moment to finish prepare my laptop with Debian/Ubuntu server and transfer c-lines from box to it.
