Help with software and softcam for starcom receiver

Hello guys.
I'm totally new to this field (satalite, channels, keys, ...)
so I need an explanation from the scratch
- How to update my receiver software?
- Which programs will I need? (give me the links plz)
- How to install softcam to my receiver?!
- Which programs and components will I need?
I use STARCOM 150.
Please help me guys.
