with predator 3.49 and receiver fortecstar 9800 the dragon cam clear all of the channels mentioned to open except the channels starting with tps ;like foot and star etc... meanwhile it can open other tps package channels like ushuaia and tf1 and m6 , any explanation for this?
Best guess is that you didn't have a DragonCam before the AES..
In this case you didn't care to check that Tipies had made a few changes in their transponders, so re scan all hotbird or just the concerned id's & everything will open again ..
It did happened to me quite a few time & providers to love to do that after a major change .
Nothing to do with the best cam existing
i deleted all tps package and rescanned but unfortunately i get the same results all open except those starting with tps , very confusing
do i need another predator with caids special for the receiver or what do u think?
Load latest Predator 3.51...there are different Predators with different IDs-read Read me.file...load actual AES key list-it usually comes by weekly changes...watch and enjoy TPS
thanx for the advice but the idea is how to know which predator is the suitable one for the receiver? or how to know the caids for each package ? that is the problem
The behavior of the Dragon CAM is linked with the implementation of the support of the CAM in the receiver.
So it is rather strange behaviour of receiver... not Dragon CAM.
For exemple if you have a Humax, they implement fully the PCMCIA/CAM protocol so every module works fine on it.
Some receiver with a weak implementation of the protocol does not behave properly.
You have to wait for a new firmware for your STB.
