Production starts on TF1’s new international coproduction

Principle photography will start on 26 September in France and The Czech Republic for Crossing Lines, TF1’s new international series shot in English.

Starring William Fichtner (Prison Break), French actor and singer Marc Lavoine (The Good Thief) and Hollywood legend Donald Sutherland, this 10 x1-hour action crime series will be produced by Tandem Communications, a German affiliate of StudioCanal, in association with show runner Ed Bernero’s production outfit. It is coproduced with TF1 Production in association with Sony Pictures Television Networks (SPT Networks).

The series will air in France on TF1 and on SPT Network's AXN channels in more than 80 countries telling the story of a special police unit formed to investigate crimes that cross European borders.

It marks Tandem's first entry into the 1-hour drama series arena. The company has until produced event mini-series and series such as The Pillars of Earth, World Without End and The Company.

Crossing Lines will be TF1’s second international copro in English after it launched Jo, another crime series starring Jean Reno and produced by Atlantique Productions (Lagardère Entertainment).
