Mohamed Abdellaoue: Hannover striker has ambitions to play for a big club

Hannover striker Mohammed Abdellaoue says he has the ambition to play for a 'big club', but is not currently thinking about a move.
Abdellaoue has impressed during the past couple of seasons in the Bundesliga and still has two years remaining on his contract.
The Norway international was linked with Swansea City earlier in the summer, while reports claimed Lazio were planning a late bid before the transfer window closed.

No bids were received before the deadline, but Abdellaoue has confirmed he would be prepared to leave Hannover if the right offer comes in.
"I have got ambitions to play for a big club and fight for titles," Abdellaoue told VG.
"If the right offer pops up, you should not be surprised if I accept it. But right now I am not thinking about that."

    Drogba plays down speculation
    Last Updated: September 8 2012, 19:03 BST

Didier Drogba maintains he is fully committed to Shanghai Shenhua amid on-going speculation regarding his future.

Didier Drogba: 'My start has generated good and bad reviews'
Reports last week claimed the former Chelsea striker could have been set to be released from his contract in China as a result of a power struggle in the Shanghai boardroom.
Rumours suggested some club officials were unhappy at the salaries being paid to certain star players, including Drogba and ex-Chelsea team-mate Nicolas Anelka.

The striker, who only left Stamford Bridge this summer, was consequently linked with a shock return to the Premier League with Liverpool or a reunion with Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid.
But Drogba is adamant he wants to stay in China and will return to Shanghai after the international break, when he is playing for Ivory Coast against Senegal on Saturday in African Cup of Nations qualifying.

"My start has generated good and bad reviews but I've always taken on my choices," he is quoted as saying by L'Equipe regarding Shanghai.
"For the 2013 African Cup of Nations, I will do everything to remain competitive by being in China. Do not worry."

Arsenal midfielder Francis Coquelin hoping to impress but could consider move

Francis Coquelin: Arsenal midfielder keen to impress for Gunners, but could consider future

Francis Coquelin is determined to make a name for himself at Arsenal, but admitted he may look to move on in January if he is not featuring in the first-team.
The France Under-21 international was rewarded with a new long-term contract at Emirates Stadium at the start of the year and made 17 appearances for the Gunners last term.

He spent the previous campaign out on loan with Lorient and was linked with a summer back to his homeland with the Ligue 1 outfit, while Everton, QPR and Aston Villa were all credited with an interest in his services.
The 21-year-old held talks with manager Arsene Wenger prior to the new season where he was assured he was part of the manager's plans for the new campaign.
Coquelin hoped the departure of Alex Song would see further opportunities come his way and is now looking to dislodge the star trio of Abou Diaby, Mikel Arteta or Santi Cazorla from the line-up.

He told L'Equipe: "In July, I met the coach and he told me I am a full member of the team and he relies on me. Looking at who we have signed, they have trust in me.
"Alex Song left for Barcelona and they didn't (sign) another defensive midfielder.
"When I didn't play in the first three matches it made me think about it. But I know I will get an opportunity and I will seize it.
"Arteta, Diaby and Cazorla are great players, who have more experience than me. But during training sessions every morning I am not behind them.
"I am 21-years-old, I know I cannot be patient any more. This year is the right season to make a name for myself at Arsenal.
"I have given myself six months and then I will take stock. If I see it is blocked, I will go somewhere else. But for now I know I have the qualities to make a name for myself at Arsenal."
