Hannover ready Andreasen offer

Danish midfielder to be rewarded with improved terms

Leon Andreasen: Has finally overcome his injury troubles

Bundesliga outfit Hannover have revealed that they intend to offer fresh terms to Denmark international Leon Andreasen.
The former Fulham midfielder is to be rewarded after shaking off a run of persistent injuries and re-establishing himself in the first-team fold.
Andreasen did pen a new one-year deal over the summer, taking him through to June 2013, but that was on reduced wages.
With the 29-year-old having shown that he is capable of steering clear of the treatment table, Hannover are now prepared to put an improved deal to him.
Focus

Club chairman Martin Kind has confirmed as much, with discussions set to start once general manager Jorg Schmadtke is back at work.
"We are about to start talking about it as soon as Mr Schmadtke returns from holiday," Kind told BILD.
Andreasen, who has already netted five times in all competitions for Hannover this season, added: "At this point in time I am just happy to be fit again. I am finally able to play again.
"My focus is on Hannover. It is really great to be back."

Benzema sees no Ronaldo sadness

Karim Benzema claims he has seen no evidence of the supposed "sadness" that has gripped Real Madrid team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo.


Benzema hasn't seen evidence that Ronaldo is unhappy
Ronaldo sparked frenzied speculation over his state of mind last week when he failed to celebrate his two goals in a 3-0 win over Granada.
The former Manchester United forward claimed post-match that he was "a little sad", but declined to offer any further explanation.
The revelation gave way to a slew of media stories speculating on the cause of Ronaldo's unhappiness, but France international Benzema insists that his team-mate is not cutting a dejected figure around the club.


"I don't know why Ronaldo is sulking," Benzema told a press conference. "I haven't really followed the story but I haven't seen him unhappy."
The Spanish media were quick to suggest that Ronaldo, who has scored 150 goals in 149 matches for Madrid, was eager to leave the Bernabeu, with free-spending Paris St Germain mooted as a possible destination.


Other reports suggest he had been left unhappy with the progress of talks over a contract extension.
On Tuesday Ronaldo took to Twitter to reassure his fans that he remains fully committed to the Spanish champions' cause, and rejected accusations that his current issues were motivated by money.
