The dish sits on a solid metal tube, which is then fixed to the wall with four large bolts.
I do not understand what this has to do with it.
Are you saying that all wooden houses are unstable? Then you are completely wrong.
The "wooden stand" is there mainly because they are painting the house.

He bought the dish with 4 LNBs (by default). And I think the idea is then to be able to get 4 satellites?

Hi. I think you misunderstood what i said. I did not say ALL wooden houses are unsafe. I was looking at the pictures and made the comments. You are the one who said at the beginning that it was unsafe to work on the building. Obviously if your friend is doing some building work then it is a different story. You still have the problem of deciding which 4 satellites you want.You cannot just pick any 4 satellites that you like due to dish size and location. Like i said before why dont you start to look for one satellite and build from there??. You said that you have installed dishes before without problems so you should be able to find a satellite to begin with. Also does the receiver support 4 LNB's?. Setting up 4 LNB's is not difficult its a question of which satellites you want and receiver type.

Yes, the receiver supports 4 LNBs.
Of course I know I can't randomise 4 satellites, only because it is the easiest.
I've also asked for help before, concerning which satellites are the most appropriate (not too far apart) that has some open Bulgarian channels.

Hi. Good news if receiver supports 4 LNB's(via DISEQC menu i assume). Your best bet is to try with one LNB and see if you pick up the BULSAT satellite at 39 east. Like i said before the problem you have is that you are going to be limited for choice and receiver which is unpatchable. Give it a go and see what you can find.

My friend lives in Lindesberg (Örebro) in Sweden.
The direction is where the best satellites are, for Bulgarian channels. ;)

You have plenty of choice then either 23.5° east or 39° east
