Klaas-Jan Huntelaar: Schalke striker's current contract runs out next summer
Schalke striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has revealed that he is in no hurry to make a decision on his future.
The Netherlands international's current contract with the German club runs out in June 2013 and he has yet to sign a new deal.
Huntelaar top scored in the Bundesliga last season with 29 goals and is keen on performing for the Royal Bluesthis campaign too.
"I have never said that I would definitely make a quick decision," the 29-year-old told Kicker.
"I have had two serious chats about a new deal, the latest chat was back in August and it was just about sporting aspects and not about financial facts.
"To make it straight and clear, I want to focus on the matches ahead, these fixtures are very important."
