i have the same problem using newer builds , peers on 7190 have a bug in camd , loads of camd fixes since 7190 .
i use
block_same_ip = 0
block_same_name = 0
in newer builds too .
i give each cache ex 3 user a different group .
cache ex 3 works fine on newer builds for me . i only got mem fill from people who put all readers and users in same group .
for an hour an half everyhting seems fine, memory is about the same as it was when i restarted with 7477 cpu is at 2% at the most
bandwidth seems ok.
only issue atm is the camd35 reader, hmmm
For me work fine for now and hits are more. I don`t send cache on 2 camd35 peers but i think this is misconfiguration from his side. I use settings from 1 post.
To clear some smoke out of the air...
These settings have only effect on normal sharing. Cache-ex is not influenced by this.

Cache-EX is never sent back to the peer it came from, however the group is applied.
I verified this by putting log command in d512:
(you need to have reader and user named with the username in the label)
tail --follow=name /var/log/oscam/oscam.log | grep <username> | grep <SID (just pick one)>
This way, your log shows the incoming ("got") cache from a peer for a specific SID.
If this ECM was pushed back to the same user, another logline would show ("pushed to <user>") but it doesn't.
I have all peers (about 60) in group 1...

Please be very precise in stating that. What version did you test with high mem filled ? How high is this mem ?
This could be a reason to re-start debugging...

Just a few days ago, a complete disastarous build was released, causing cache to flood.. (high bandwidth).
If you still exchanging with a peer on that build, your oscam wil defenitly crash..
This needs some time..
Thx!
CapNCook is the new build working good for you?
oscam is a work in progress , in some versions the module you want works great , in others it dont . i prefer to have manual settings as relying on oscam to be totally perfect is a gamble .
different groups allows me to share the cache i want with who i want .
the biggest problem i have is getting my camd peers to agree to move over to cccam .
i only compile the modules i use , im hoping to compile without camd soon .
not tried yet mate but i will do in a bit, i did run 7461 for over 36hrs and that worked great for me.
it just didnt like the older versions so reinstalled 6923 again. my cpu load was only about 4% with 7461. strange how it worked for some and not for others.
i was never a fan of 7190 worked great for about 20hrs on my system and then it would stop sending to some lines, not all but some. with 6923 i was running that version for over 2 weeks without rebooting. but my local cards didn't like it lol
OK. Well 7190 is past now.. Really good result with > 7474, and a lot of cache-ex bugs have been removed..
Still some people report camd35 disconnects.. this needs to be investigated.
I personally dont have this, having a few camd35 peers connected at the user side.
Curious about the results of you all!
