Transmedia’s Alt-Minds to launch on Euro digital devices

Mixing the worlds of TV, video games and the internet, paranormal thriller Alt-Minds will launch on 5 November across the internet and on PCs, Mac, tablets and smartphones.

This web fiction will unfold into five countries, featuring over 4 hours of video and 50 hours of gaming over 8 weeks and will be deployed in four Euro languages (French, English, German and Spanish) over eight weeks.

The interactive fiction has been created by video games specialist Eric Viennot along with Transmedia Lab’s Orange teams and Lexis Numérique. The mystery game will also take the form of a mobile app to help users keep up with proceedings and enable viewers to find secret locations all over Europe and Russia thanks to a geolocalisation option. The full Alt-Minds experience will be available completely free of charge for a week. Then, players can get a subscription for around £3 a week or a little less than £20 for the whole 8 week season.
