Dm800 Hd pvr Newbie install

I know their is alot of threads already about this.. but its so much info to read and understand. My Q is , I got an dreambox 800 HD clone. And I payed I guy 150 Dollars to make it work.. and it did for a year.. but I want to now how I do that by myself. I know u write your ip on browser and pick a image nfi for your dreambox.. but whats next ? how do I get the channel list and so on ?
