iStream secures Indian rights to Brazilian football

Indian VOD site iStream has secured the rights to top-flight Brazilian football.

In a three-year deal with Total Sports Asia, iStream will show live Brasileirao Serie A and São Paulo State Championship matches, offering them later on-demand. It will also show two football highlights programmes, FootBrazil Highlight and FootBrazil Magazine Show.

Total Sports Asia’s director of sales and business development Vishal Jaison said: “With increasing broadband penetration in the country, it was important for us to extend our distribution of the Brazilian Football League over the internet."
