MTV Portugal starts 16: 9 transmissions

The Portuguese subsidiary of Viacom’s flagship music TV channel MTV has begun transmissions in 16:9 format.

This is a decision which will satisfy a lot of the channel’s viewers, according to its executives, and will feature a host of technological improvements.
