n-tv launches catch-up TV portal

German news channel n-tv has launched a catch-up TV portal (http://www.n-tvnow.de) allowing Internet users to watch full length documentaries, reports and other programmes 24-hours-a-day free of charge.

The content will be made available following initial TV broadcast. The offering, which finances through advertising, will offer formats including Auslandsreport, n-tv Wissen, Welt der Wunder, PS - Das Automagazin, n-tv Ratgeber, n-tv History and Top Cars.

n-tv is the last free-to-air channel from RTL's German channel family to launch a catch-up portal. Similar services are already provided by RTL, VOX, RTL II, Super RTL and RTL Nitro.
