How to use Cable RS232 to USB?

Can somebody tell me how to use cable RS232(Female) to USB…Shall I need to modify the cable to have a wiring P2 – P3, P3 – P2, P5 – P5?

Hi T£am ,
To be able to use the usb as com port u have to install this driver , it's a sort of converter which convert USB 2 Com . It's used for laptops which don't have Com port .
