--French IPTV provider SFR has introduced remote PVR scheduling via smart phones and tablets. Customers can download the free SFR TV app in the Android and Apple stores.

--The German media commission ZAK (Zulassung und Aufsicht der Medienanstalten) has given the green light for the launch of digital thematic channel Sat.1 Gold from the ProSiebenSat.1 group.

--UKTV has secured its fourth DTT channel slot. Initially it will be used for a return to full-time broadcasting by Dave Ja Vu, the catch-up TV service of the male-skewing Dave, until a permanent channel is selected.
