7025 USB Problems

How do I get DM7025 to recognise "USB stick" . I want to be able to backup to USB stick. Is this possible.

Yes, just format the stick with the utility from Dreambox in the box

I stil cant get USB stick to work on 7025. I have tried to format it using DCC. No luck . I then tried Multiboot program and the USB appeared to be formatted but I still could not use the Backup function of the 7025. Any ideas out there. Has 7025 users got the USB function working for backups. Thanks in advance.

I do not fully understand your answer. Are you using a Netgear USB key. The key I have is a 512M Data Traveller. Do you think I need to get a Netgear key.

Stop ! There is a huge difference between DOS format and LINUX format.

I don't know how you formatted your stick with dcc because I DO NOT use such #![]% software but you must format it from the dreambox menu.

I had some problems with my usb and after format it with flashwizard everything is working fine now !
