Diablo light 2.3 config broken

Hi all.
I have an old Diablo light v 2.3 that has been working ok in an Echostar AD3000Ip. In the course of trying to update from UW 1.87 using CAS3+ I seem to have broken it! The update went ok and all the usual files were installed including config.xml but it didn't work in the reciever and I couldn't access the config settings. I then put the CAM into the programmer and I couldn't get at the config with that either using the utility page I have tried loading other older UW files which install without problem but I still cant get at the config settings. I can't find a copy of the original Diablo software but I doubt if it would help. I can read the config.xml file via my computer and it seems to have all the appropriate settings but there seems to be a communication problem with both the receiver and the CAS3

Has anyone any ideas how this can be fixed?

What version of UW were your trying to?

The latest versions are only for wifi cams, the latest I have managed to get working on a 2.3 light is UW2.16.
I managed to recover my cam after it was killed by UW221beta by following details from another forum.
This involved restoring a backup using an old version of Cas Interface Studio.
The cam is then accessible again and you can load the version you want.
To use the old version of CIS you need to change the PC clock back to about June 2008.
I'm not sure this is the same problem you have but I hope this may be of some use.

diablo 2.3 is working again after download cas studio 8.4 and 1.28dbf thx stroker (but i cant download it from here i take it from i otter side)

Attachments from before 17th April will not work till recovered them from our old server.

Strange that doesn't seem to work but the attachments from 23-01-2013 now do work
