Probably later versions moving more cache than previous versions.
Start with cacheex_maxhops = 1 on all USERS only, leave readers without.
    Report load with =1.

Also, you run with CSPv5 patch ?
And you implemented a CAID filter ?
    How much users/readers ?
    Cache-ex only server ? or combined ?

    Need more info..

    Thanks for the feedback!

    1. I am not running the CSPv5 patch on this version, if you tell me where to find it, I will ensure that I patch oscam.
    2. CAID filter on the reader you mean? Yes, I've set CAIDs on the readers so I limit the cache being sent to certain peers only.
    3. Cache readers are currently around 5, cache peers as well. Regular users around 30.
    4. It's a combined server, where it handles normal clients and cache.

What CAID's do you run ?

There are several patches available currently, not completely ready for trunk yet, but CSPv5 is pretty stable. CW-Cycle patch also.
If you did not patch, you probably did not follow all progress in these.. You have to catch up. It's highly recommended to patch.

    CSPv5 has important features like:
    - Dynamic Waittime per CAID
    - Cache filtering incoming and outgoing (new fields are applied in user/reader for this).
    - Many bugs are solved, and changes are applied to optimize cache-ex

The CW-Cycle patch is not related to cache, but is recommended and can be used with NON-NDS cards.

You can download a combined patch of these two here: http://www.streamboard.tv/wbb2/threa...threadid=36365
Also the complete history about the development can be found there.

The cache I forward to my cache peers is 0919, 0963 and 0100:6A! :) I'll have a read through the rest of the info!

    Edit:

Thanks for the info! I've just updated to 8021 with the patch as suggested. Are there specific settings for e.g. wait_time under the CSP tab and the cyclecheck?

    Currently have: 0963:200,0100:350,0604:250,0919:200

Have no idea what to put under the cycclecheck!

I believe that it could be for the greater good if we share these settings with each other, agreed?

In that case, use the combined cspv5 and cw cycle patch v5.

Have applied that specific patch as suggested! Now I would need some recommended settings, as posted before! :)

If you understood the changes.. you should know these..

There are no 'recommended' settings, it differs from server to server.

start with waittime 0963:250 to enable CSP waittime for sky uk for test.
Then follow my trim guide in this thread

    --

Apart from CSP, enable CWCYCLE for caid 0100, in mode 2 (re-request).

Re: Tutorial : Reduce oscam cpu (affected by cache-ex)

    Hello
Now upgraded to the latest version 8061, but I notice a strange problem ..... I use two separate oscam, mixed and only for cacheex. Mixed works well but in cacheex cam i see a memory leak. Are there other colleagues with similar problem?

How did you identify this memory leak ?
