France 24 launches on DTT in Denmark

The French and the Arabic versions of news channel France 24 have joined the English version on the digital-terrestrial network operated by Open Channel in Copenhagen.
This new agreement allows France 24 to be available in three languages to 700,000 households throughout the Danish capital.

The French and the Arabic versions of France 24 have been added to the English version on the DTT network operated by Open Channel in Copenhagen.
This new agreement allows the French news channel to be available in three languages to a potential audience of 700,000 households throughout the Danish capital city.
Open Channel operates a special multiplex for Copenhagen, called MUX-CPH, using the DVB-T2 standard and broadcasts a number of channels free-to-air, including France 24, the local channel Kanal København, the Christian channel Familie TV and Gane TV.
France 24 has also announced further distribution agreements with the IPTV provider Skynet in Burma with 50,000 subscribers; and with Indonesia’s cable, DTH and IPTV platform Telkom Vision serving an additional 100,000 subscribers in major Indonesian cities, such as Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang and Denpasar.
In Thailand, France 24 is now available on IPTV operator ME TV in English and French.
In Australia, France 24 has partnered with SBS, allowing its English version to be broadcast 30 minutes per day on SBS One. This 30-minute news segment is also available for free on the Australian network’s website.
