Canal+ Group's free DTT news channel i>Télé is launching its HbbTV connected TV application this month.

Developed by Canal+'s technical team, the new device will help viewers to directly access i>Télé's contents and get information on demand.

A navigation menu can be activated from the remote control of connected TV sets plugged into i>Télé. The application doesn't need to be downloaded, and operates on all connected TV sets equipped with the HbbTV standard.

I>Télé says that it is the only news channel in France to offer a service on all digital platforms (iOS, Android, Windows Phone) and devices (TV, PC, tablets, smartphones, Xbox).
