Cache-ex users in cc-cam proto ==> must read !!

Hello all,

When you are using CACHE-EX with CC-CAM protocol to exchange to peers, please UPGRADE your oscam to latest SVN version (>= 7990).

Significant changes are made in this release, since we found out that cc-cam protocol was broken for CACHE exchange for a long time.

The format which cache is exchanging between servers has been changed a long time ago.

Old format is NOT compatible with new format.

This change was only applied to the CAMD35 protocol in OSCAM. (and not to CC-Cam protocol)

Therefore, all users exchanging in CC-CAM mode right now, cannot use the cache that has been sent thru camd35 protocols somewhere in the chain.

Before upgrading, please do understand:

This change in SVN is recently done, so not everyone has updated yet, but many did.
For those who didn't, You will see messages in log complaining about the old version after upgrade:


cache-user1 received wrong cash-push format! data ignored!

Please notify your peers to upgrade oscam to latest SVN, and keep track of the timeline (see below) for future updates, since Cache-EX is getting attention from some developers now.

Now (today) , its applied to CC-CAM also.

There are several improvements on its way. The current version in SVN (7981) is only fixing CC-Cam protocol in cache-ex xchange.

Later on, you will see more improvements in SVN like:

- CacheEx Waittime per CAID
- CacheEx Filtering incoming/outgoing
- CacheEx Dynamic Waittime
- CW Cycle checks for SECA cards
- many small fixes.

This is not in SVN yet.
