Mediaset España buys Copa del Rey rights

Mediaset España has bought the television rights for the football competition Copa del Rey, allowing it to broadcast five in-the-clear matches on its main national TV channel Telecinco.

Spain's public broadcaster TVE will broadcast the final match of the Cup, as it has done for years, according to Europa Press.

Last year Telecinco offered six in-the-clear Copa del Rey matches.
