Keys direct entry to receiver

I am trying to enter the keys directly to the receiver and I am not sure what goes where???

My receiver needs me to enter the following:-

1- CAID (this is a 4 digit number)

2- Provider (this is a 6 digit number)

3- Type (it shows Key 16 and it can be changed to Key8 odd or even …etc)

4- Index (this is a 2 digit number)

5- Key data (I guess this is where the keys for the channel go)


Can anyone help understand from where to get CAID & Provider number?

What type should I use type 16 or type 8 and what is it?

What is Index number and from where to get it?

Is there an application where by I can connect my receiver (UNISAT DRAGON) directly to my pc via RS232 and load these keys?

Provider = 0065
key = oc or 00 or 01.Etc
key data = 10 12 13 14 15 16 12 13 =for 16 bit
-------------------------------------------------------------
00 = 01 12 13 15 16 16 16 11
01 = 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 for =for 32 bit
